Man Arrested On Charge Of Making Threat Against Henry County High School

PARIS, Tenn. – A Henry County man was arrested Thursday on the charge of making a threat of mass violence against Henry County High School.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post it received a report of a potential threat situation involving the Henry County High School.
School resource officers received information of a non-student making threats to cause violence at the school by taking a firearm to the school and causing harm to specific individuals.
School officials enacted safety protocols and law enforcement conducted an investigation.
18-year-old John Carter King was charged with threats of mass violence on school property. His bond was set at $15,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 11.
