Boater Identified In Kentucky Lake Drowning

BENTON COUNTY, Tenn. – Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) officers are investigating a fatal boating incident that occurred on Saturday.

TWRA said in a news release that 24-year-old Jonathan A. Miller, of Lawrence County, lost his life when his boat capsized on Kentucky Lake. The release also said he was not wearing a lifejacket.

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office, TWRA, Benton County Rescue Squad, Big Sandy Fire Department, and EMS responded to the accident Saturday. This is the ninth fatal boating incident in Tennessee this year.
