TWRA Says One Man Missing In Tennessee River

HARDIN COUNTY, Tenn. – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) responded to a call about an unoccupied boat circling on the Tennessee River near mile marker 204 on Thursday around 6:30 p.m.
TWRA officers reported finding a 16-foot jon boat circling in the river without any occupants. A 56-year-old man was rescued from the bank. A 79-year-old man from Hardeman County is still missing. The incident occurred around mile marker 204 on the Tennessee River.
Authorities are monitoring the weather, and search efforts are continuing. TWRA is currently investigating the incident.
