The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announced Thursday that 38-year-old Candace L. Wright and 34-year-old Sharon R. Collins had been taken into custody and booked into the Benton County Jail.

The news release says the Benton County Grand Jury returned indictments yesterday charging Wright with arson, vandalism over $250,000, aggravated burglary, theft of property over $10,000, and possession of schedule VI with intent to sell. Wright’s bond is set at $75,000. Collins was indicted on counts of arson, vandalism over $250,000, aggravated burglary, and theft of property over $10,000. Collins’ bond is set at $25,000.

The TBI’s investigation began on October 2, 2019, after the Chalk Level and Holladay Fire Departments responded to a fire at former Benton County resident Dr. Ken Berry’s home in the 1800 block of Douglas Drive in Holladay.
