Bruceton Residents Connect To New Fiber Network

Share

BRUCETON, Tenn. – TDS Telecommunications LLC is starting customer installations on its new fiber-optic network upgrade in Bruceton, Tennessee.

This means that up to one gigabit symmetrical internet speed for homes, and up to 10 gigabit dedicated business connections, are now available to the first addresses included in the build area.

“We’re thrilled Bruceton customers can now experience the difference fiber makes for themselves,” says Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs Drew Petersen. “Regardless of how you use the internet, this multi-million-dollar project delivers the world-class connections everyone is looking for.”

Construction on TDS’ fiber network began late last year and is gradually becoming available as sections of the network are completed. The all-fiber network will ultimately connect approximately 2,500 locations across Bruceton. The high-tech infrastructure project has included burying conduit and fiber cable in public utility easement areas, as well as accessing utility poles to hang cable.
