Three McKenzie Women Arrested On Drug And Weapons Charges

MCKENZIE, Tenn.- Three McKenzie women were arrested Tuesday on drug and weapons charges.

 

56-year-old Demetria Strayhorn, 27-year-old Herivia Strayhorn, and 30-year-old Wynter Strayhorn were all arrested after a search warrant was executed on a home on the 700 block of Walnut Avenue.

 

The news release said the arrests came after a drug trafficking investigation began last month with TBI special agents, the McKenzie Police Department, and the Huntingdon Police Department.

 

All three women were charged with possession of schedule VI with intent to sell and distribute, possession of schedule II, possession of a firearm in the commission of a dangerous felony, alteration of a serial number on a firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Each has a bond of $12,000.
