Stewart County Daycare Investigation Leads To Arrests

DOVER, Tenn.-The Stewart County Sheriff’s Office charged the owner of MiMi’s Daycare and three other individuals on multiple charges Thursday.

 

45-year-old Jaime Clark, 20-year-old Kristin Clark, 22-year-old Jordan Darnell, and 20-year-old Ethan Pulley were all arrested on various charges including tampering with evidence and child abuse. Jaime Clark is being held on a $62,000 bond, Kristen Clark and Jordan Darnell are on a $61,000 bond, and Ethan Pulley is being held on a $10,000 bond.

 

Sheriff Frankie Gray said in a press release an investigation began after complaints were filed by parents.

 

Investigators Lee Miller and Dana Saltkill determined that the daycare was giving the children melatonin to make them sleep longer. The investigation involves 26 children over a two-year period with children from ages six years old to infants being involved.

 

The investigation is ongoing.
