Carolyn Joyce Douglas, 75, of Camden, Tenn. passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Douglas was born on Dec. 5, 1946, in McKenzie, Tenn. to the late Clarence R. Britton and Edith G. Molter Britton. She was preceded in death by her husband James Larry Douglas and son James Larry Douglas Jr. Mrs. Douglas was a retired Jailer with the Benton County Sheriff’s Department.

Son: Kevin (Tammy) Schlueter of Camden, Tenn.; Grandson: Jay (Katie) Schlueter of Camden, Tenn.; Great Grandson: Gage Schlueter of Camden, Tenn.; Great Granddaughter: Chloe Schlueter of Camden, Tenn.; Brother: Larry Britton of Jackson, Tenn.; Sister: Patsy Crider of Hollow Rock, Tenn.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, August 9, 2022, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Oakdale Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eddie Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery.
